Unfortunately, Melanie Griffith’s biography so far reads like a scary story of drug abuse, rehab, followed by more drug abuse and more rehab. Throughout all this, Melanie has apparently managed to keep smoking cigarettes, which may seem like the lesser evil, but it’s the evil that endures.

Speaking of quitting smoking for the sake of her daugher, Melanie Griffith got a bunch of well-deserved grief from a lot of people for being seen lighting her 17-year-old daughter’s cigarette, right on the street! Way to go, Melanie, it’s not enough to you keep smoking those vile things, you also encourage your children to smoke, too! I hope you’re proud. Dig it:

Seriously, she should apply for Mother of the Year. There has to be a point where she realizes that she’s acting like a complete irresponsible moron. Knowing that your child occasionnaly smokes a cigarette is one thing, but explicitly endorsing it by lighting said cigarette is disgusting. If she doesn’t feel like she pounding a nail in her daughter’s coffin, something is seriously wrong with her. Anyways, here’s another picture of the happy pair puffing along together.

Seriously, don’t they look fancy and sophisticated? NO! They look like addicted zombies. I hope they can get rid of the habit soon, especially Melanie’s daughter Dakota, for whom there yet be time to avoid serious damage.
